31 Mar Goodbye Angela!
(The above photo was taken about 10 years ago, Angela showing Sharry and Kat the helm.)
We want to say goodbye to our good crew mate Angela, a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain who spent a number of years in Hawaii running submarines for Atlantis.
She just spent the past three months looking after Starr while Patrick and I were back in the States. She kept Starr in great shape and gleaming, which we appreciated greatly. That made it easy for us to step back aboard without missing a beat.
While she was here, she also took the opportunity to explore Japan and make the most of her time. Since we’ve been back, it’s been great having her with us as we’ve done some cruising in the Seto Inland Sea; she’s been a big help and easy to have around.
Angela has now headed off to Bangkok to spend some time with her father, and from there she’ll make her way back to Hawaii. We appreciate everything she’s done to keep Starr in good shape while we were away and wish her the best for the next leg of her travels.
Sayonara!
